It provides PDIV free performance at an operating voltage of 2.0KV AC(RMS) at 35,000 ft making it ideal for Batteries, Generators, Motors & Power Distribution. The operating temperature is 200°C using the new TALON contact with a current-carrying capacity of up to 800A.

the termination of screened power cables. It is designed for applications where once the equipment is installed, it does not require frequent connection and disconnection.
High-speed fiber optic transmission is available in rectangular connectors for use in advanced avionics systems. The optical performance of fiber optic termini is the same as termini used in circular connectors. LRM interconnects can have hybrid arrangements of fiber optics with Brush contacts, as well as other contact types.

The MIL-DTL-38999 Series III jam-nut style connector features a reduced flange design that saves space, weight, and reduces your footprint when used in PCB applications. More connectors are able to be fit on a box or board due to the reduced flange having a smaller diameter than a standard jam nut receptacle. 30% lighter than standard 38999/24 (w/o stand-offs).
