TAC Connectors
TAC Connectors are designed and manufactured to the exacting specifications of MIL-DTL-55116 requirements at half the size of the standard connectors. TFOCA-II® 4-Channel Fiber Optic Connectors
AFSI, in collaboration with the United States Army CECOM, designed the “next generation” deployable fiber optic connector for the emerging “knowledge-centric warfare communication” requirements of the future battlefield. The heart of the TFOCA-II® centers on the sealed free-floating termini which enables the connectors to seal against high humidity and moisture conditions.
TFOCA-II® Ruggedized Media Converter (ARCH Series)
Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) offers the ARCH Series TFOCA-II® Ruggedized Media Converter to provide optical-electrical (O-E) and electrical-optical (E-O) conversion for harsh environments. THDM Series
The THDM is a MIL-PRF-28876 derived mechanical transfer (MT) rugged fiber optic connector for military and aerospace applications.THDM is modular, allowing multiple combinations of fiber types to be used in the same connector.
Tilt Sensor / Inclinometer
Based on mechanics-free MEMS technology these inclinometers accurately measure inclination, tilt and angle in harsh environmental conditions. With Amphenol SOCAPEX USBF TV & USB3F TV, connectors, users can insert a standard USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 cordset into a metallic plug that protects it from shock, dust, and fluids. The range is for Atex Zone 2 environments. It's based on MIL-DTL-38999 series III with a threaded locking mechanism. The connectors are sealed against fluids and dust (IP68).

VG-approved 75 Ω coaxial, or fiber optic contacts for video and data transmission. Compatible with VG95319‑1016, MIL-DTL-38999 Series III, TV/CTV connectors. Coaxial contacts support 0–3 GHz with matched 75 Ω impedance; fiber optic termini offer excellent optical and mechanical performance for single- and multimode.

BACKSHELLS form the watertight seal of a connector and offer protection against electromagnetic interference, moisture, and dirt.
