Distribution boxes have been a necessary hardware component in mechanical and plant engineering for decades. They serve as extended input and output interfaces of the electrical control. These connectors are used where dust and spray water occur and the functioning of usual connectors would be negatively affected. These connectors are available as standard, high density, filter, or combination in the usual pole number.
The overmoulded M12 L-coded connectors require 30% less installation space compared to a 7/8″ connector. Due to the high current carrying capacity of 16 A with a strand cross-section of 2.5 mm², they are also able to ensure the power supply of devices via a miniaturised interface. The CONEC connector series with bayonet quick locking system allows safe and quick locking even in areas that are difficult to reach and/or not visible. With the “three-point” bayonet locking it is possible to lock the connection by hand with a 90 ° turn. You get direct tactile and acoustic feedback as soon as the connector is locked.
In view of the increasing amount of data in industrial plants, designers and planners are faced with the question of how to transfer data quickly and reliably. Typical areas of application that require continuously higher data transmission rates are, for example, vision and scanner systems for production monitoring and real-time data evaluation.
With M8x1 D coding, Industrial Ethernet transmission is implemented using a 4-pole M8x1 connector in conjunction with a 360° shielding and a standard Ethernet cable. Together with the contacts changed to 0.8 mm diameter, the connector enables a transmission rate of up to 100 Mbit/s (Fast Ethernet).
The special feature of EtherCAT-P is the combination of superfast EtherCAT communication with the 24 V power supply. Data and power (Us) for system and sensor supply with 24 V and 3 A are provided on a two-wire data pair. The second data pair provides data and the peripheral voltage (Up) for the supply of the actuators.

DL Series are highly reliable circular connectors (wire soldering type) approved by TUV satisfying European safety standards and UL standards. They feature IP67 class water and dustproof, when mated, and a protective earth circuit with first mate break grounding contacts. FCI Basics D-Sub High Performance Board-Mount Connectors are designed for severe environment applications in the field of telecommunications, aerospace, military (125°C) class and for particularly severe applications, especially high temperature (+155°C) class. They feature machined contacts and is available in solder bucket, straight spills, angled spills, and wire wrap terminations.
FCI Basics D-Sub MicroTCA Connectors are power module I/O interconnects for 48V applications designed in accordance with TCA specifications. The concept is based on the single-shell Delta D design, and power contacts handle up to 24A. PCB connectors are proposed in traditional Solder-to-board and Pin-in-Paste versions for optimized applied cost.
