With a single-pole insert arrangement ranging from 14 AWG to 10 AWG contact per connector and up to 30 amps possible.
This series, similar to the H4 with UL 6703 / IEC 62852 approvals at 1500V DC, enhanced materials to increase performance levels of chemical resistance, ingress protection (IP68 24h/1 m mated), damp heat (2000 hrs), thermal cycle (800 cycles), humidity freeze (60) cycles, and lower contact resistance. Amphenol HDMI supports standard or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a connector. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio. With 18Gb/s of bandwidth, HDMI can accommodate the future enhancements and requirements of audio/video equipment.
Amphenol's HDMI 2.1 supports a range of higher video resolutions and refresh rates including 8K@60 HZ and 4K@120HZ, and resolutions up to 10K. Dynamic HDR formats are also supported, and bandwidth capability is increased up to 48Gbps. Amphenol's HDMI2.1 cable has passed the certification, and the mechanical interface is compatible with HDMI2.0 and HDMI1.4.
FCI Basics HDMI™ (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a smaller, user-friendly version of DVI for high definition audio-video transfer in consumer entertainment devices. Backward-compatible with DVI, the connector system supports uncompressed video and audio data transmission at 5Gb/s along a single cable.
