Amphenol’s R-VPX is a ruggedized, high-speed, board-to-board interconnect system capable of data rates in excess of 10 Gbps, meeting and exceeding VITA 46 standards. R-VPX High-Speed Evolution Modules are capable of 16+ Gbps data rate transfer performance. SAS/PCIe 3.0 connectors are designed for next-generation servers with 12Gb/s speeds. The 68-position, SAS/PCIe receptacle, and header enable high-speed Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk drive (HDD) interface as well as Peripheral Component Express (PCIe)-based devices. These connectors are backward compatible with 6Gb/s SAS, SATA, and 3Gb/s SFF8482 connectors.
