Radio Frequency Connectors
Protective Caps
Protective caps are available for many of our products, with options for chains and mounting hardware.
PSMP Connector Series
Amphenol RF PSMP connectors are the perfect solution for board-to-board applications requiring high power. With a minimum board spacing of 12.6 mm, the three-piece design allows maximum flexibility for high-density board spacing and is an ideal solution for blind-mate situations.
QMA Connector Series
The QMA connector is a quick disconnect version of the SMA connector and shares the same internal construction, which allows the connector to have excellent performance up to 6 GHz.
QN Connectors
Amphenol RF’s QN connector is a quick disconnect version of the N-Type connector with similar internal construction, which enables fast and easy matings with minimum space requirements.
RF and Mixed Signal Harnesses Overview
SV Microwave offers design, assembly and test services to support your harness needs including Mil-Aero, Commercial Space and Hi-Reliability applications.
Our J-STD certified harness technicians have experience manufacturing harnesses for some of the world's most challenging conditions including Low Earth Orbit, Military Aircraft and Industrial Test and Measurement.
RF Coaxial Adapters
Amphenol RF offers a wide variety of in-series, between series and tee adapters for radio frequency applications. Adapters feature all industry-standard connector interfaces and are commonly used to change gender or as connector savers in precision test and measurement applications, or to split or combine RF signals.
RF Connectors (Radio Frequency Connectors)
Amphenol LTW's RF connector (radio frequency connector) is an electrical connector designed to work at radio frequencies in the multi-megahertz range. RF connectors are typically used with coaxial cables and are designed to maintain the shielding that the coaxial design offers. Available in SMA, N-Type, with various termination choices.
RF Jumper and Socket
Amphenol’s RF Jumper and Socket covers 1st through 5th generations. The 4th generation RF jumper cable is compatible with lpex spec using a soldering connection instead of crimping between RF connector and the jumper cable creating a more secure joint for better high-frequency performance. The 5th generation version is Hirose compatible and has a 1.0 mm mating height with 0.81 mm diameter cable.
RF Microswitches
RF Switches are typically used as test access points or for external antenna applications. The switch is activated by manually mating a connector to change the RF path. RF switches come in several different interfaces, with MMCX and MCX being the most popular.
RF Microwave Harnesses
We support the full spectrum of harness interfaces including
1. MIL-SPEC circular and rectangular connectors
2. D38999
3. ARINC
4. LRM
