Amphenol is a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of high-performance interconnect systems for harsh environment defense applications including vibration, pressure, humidity, nuclear radiation and severe temperature changes. We have unparalleled product breadth ranging from military specification connectors, customized high-speed board level interconnects, flexible to rigid printed circuit boards, backplane systems and integrated assemblies. Our solutions span most defense end markets including avionics, communications, engines, ground vehicles and tanks, homeland security, naval, ordnance and missile systems, radar systems, rotorcraft, satellite and space programs and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
D38999 Series III style connectors featuring an integral banding platform or integral strain relief eliminate the need for an additional backshell accessory. The banding platform incorporated into the rear of the connector shell allows the user to attach the shield of their cable directly to the connector, providing superior EMI shielding, enhanced sealing, and ease for overmold applications.
The 38999 reduced flange connector provides more density on the panel with a 41% surface saving in harsh environment applications. This connector is designed for harsh environment applications across multiple markets, such as ground vehicles, data acquisition equipment, planes, helicopters, avionics calculators, and UAVs where superior electrical performance and surface savings are needed.
Available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 position

The 746 underwater accelerometer withstands continuous submersion to 650 PSI. The lightweight titanium case is resistant to galvanic corrosion and offers strong performance at high pressures. A potted integral cable prevents water ingress and protects the circuitry. The 746 is used for ship propulsor and hull vibration monitoring, acoustic signature monitoring on submarines, and lab research.
The 754 underwater accelerometer withstands submersion to 650 PSI. The lightweight titanium case is resistant to galvanic corrosion and offers strong performance at high pressures. A potted integral cable prevents water ingress and protects the circuitry. Applications for a 10 mV/g high amplitude sensor include intrusion detection, propulsion system diagnostics, and acoustic signature reduction.
Wilcoxon’s 757 biaxial underwater accelerometer withstands continuous submersion to 650 PSI. The potted integral cable prevents water ingress and protects the circuitry. A stainless steel overbraid prevents cuts, abrasions, and damage to the integral cable. Multidirectional vibration analysis is ideal for low-frequency monitoring of ship propulsion systems and hydroelectric power gen.
