Amphenol is one of the world’s largest designers, manufacturers and marketers of connectors and interconnect systems, antennas solutions, sensors and high-speed cable. Our connector and connector system solutions include fiber optic interconnect, harsh environment interconnect, high-speed interconnect, power interconnect, power distribution and busbars and radio frequency (RF) interconnect products. Our sensors and sensor-based product solutions include gas and moisture sensors, level sensors, position sensor, pressure sensors, temperature sensors and vibration sensors. Our value-added cable assemblies include cable assemblies and harnesses, cable management products and backplane interconnect systems. Our cable solutions include coaxial cable, power cable and specialty cable. We also provide combiner/splitter products, flexible and rigid printed circuit boards, hinges and molded parts.
FCI Basics Latch-N-Lok is a shielded, latching input/output connector with PCB receptacles and cable plug kits for signal, power, grounding, and shielding applications. Latch-N-Lok connector produces an audible 'click' sound when it is properly connected, indicating that the IO is ready to function. The cable connectors accommodate a wide variety of cable diameters and wires ranging from 32-20AWG.
Designed for high-density fiber connectivity and splicing for indoor wall mount applications. This compact plastic demarcation fiber enclosure is lightweight for easier handling. It can accommodate SC and LC style adapters and mass fusion splice sleeve holders.
Amphenol Air LB France's LB clamps are a lightweight alternative to metallic clamps, especially suited for industrial applications. Designed to keep the cable harnesses or hydraulic pipes securely maintained on a structure, they are easy to install, robust, flexible, and provide safety over time. Stacking mount possible.
The patented RJStop® system allows the use of a standard LC patch-cord in a metallic plug,
which will protect it from shock, dust, and fluids. There is no need for field termination.
This metallic plug connects to a receptacle, using a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism
(MIL-DTL-38999 Series III type) with an anti-decoupling device for high vibrations.
The LCX Series features bulkhead-style, LGX-compatible fiber optic patch panels. The LCX gives you cost-effective patch and splitter capabilities in an industry-standard footprint. The series can host up to 288 terminations in a standard configuration that fits existing frame layouts and new builds.
LDG P-Clamps use a softer rubber for clamp cushioning, reducing wear and tear on mission-critical cable harnesses – all without compromising the strength and performance of the clamp itself. Specifically designed for high-performance aerospace cables, such as the MT/MTL product lines, the LDG P-Clamps are easy to use, simple to maintain, and are available in 17 different sizes.
LDS enables conductive trace on 3D dimensional surfaces - opening for new design
possibilities and applications.
The motivation for using LDS technology in antenna applications is to allow full 3D design
freedom and by that obtain optimum performance.
Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) has led to vast opportunities in innovative design. The laser activation technology produces thinner lines and smaller features than previously made possible by other molded interconnect device processes without compromising consistency and repeatability. Amphenol also have LEP (Laser Enhance Plating) process which can do selective plating on non-LDS material.
The 300Gb/s Leap-AHRD High-Speed Optical Module is faster, smaller, more cost, and power-efficient than most conventional data center interconnects. The on-board transceiver rugged device is capable of speeds up to 25Gbps and distances up to 100 meters. The optical cable can be routed above and around other components in the integrated heat-sink design.
