They are used to maintain the required distance between two parallel or crossing cable bundles.

Our ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE GASKETS are approved acc. to VG96940-6 and offer excellent shielding characteristics against electromagnetic interference and maximum protection against moisture and dirt. BACKSHELLS form the watertight seal of a connector and offer protection against electromagnetic interference, moisture, and dirt. They are available in different versions: band connection / clamping cone (SQ) / for heat shrink boots / straight or angled with a wide selection of cable outputs, materials and platings. Suitable for VG95319-1016 / MIL-DTL-38999 Series III / TV/CTV connectors.
Air LB Contacts / VG95319-1009 approved
VG-approved 75 Ω coaxial, or fiber optic contacts for video and data transmission. Compatible with VG95319‑1016, MIL-DTL-38999 Series III, TV/CTV connectors. Coaxial contacts support 0–3 GHz with matched 75 Ω impedance; fiber optic termini offer excellent optical and mechanical performance for single- and multimode.
Air LB EPC Series / ASNE0237 | ABS1145 approved
D-SUB connectors in the EPC series to 50 crimp/solder contacts adhere to the ASNE0237 and ABS1145 standards. They are plug compatible with standards UTE C93-425 models HE 508, MIL-C-24308, DEF 5935 pattern 110 & IEC recommendation 48B. Suitable for aerospace, telecommunications, and wherever density is required.

Robust circular CONNECTOR with Tri-Start threaded locking and five guiding grooves for effortless mating, offering 4 or 6 power contacts rated up to 100A per contact and 1000V operating voltage. FMLB leading contacts and LMFB lagging contacts, together with IP2X finger protection, ensure safe make/brake timing and high protection for both user and system.
Alternate to Cadmium Platings
Multiple options for alternate-to-cadmium platings, including Durmalon, Black Zinc Nickel, and the new AP-93 1000-hour salt spray approved plating. Amphenol uses the RoHS requirements and the latest revisions to the MIL-DTL-38999 specification to develop these platings.

USB Type C Active Optical Cable extender is a hybrid copper and fiber optic cable that enables long distance transmission of high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 data, video, and power delivery without signal loss or latency. This USB Type C extender supports lengths up to 15 meters maximum instead 1 meter max in copper version, delivering stable data and video transmission over long distances.
AP-93 Plating
AP-93 is a conductive REACH/RoHS compliant finish that outperforms Cadmium. AP-93 exceeds Olive-Drab Cadmium plating by meeting 1000 hours of dynamic salt spray, 500 mating cycles, and meets the millivolt drop shell-to-shell conductivity of nickel (Class F). AP-93 meets a 200° C temperature rating, is compatible with other platings, and is available on all D38999-style Series III connectors.
