Amphenol-BSI 100G VPX Backplane is based on the OpenVPX65 BKP3-CEN08-15.2.16-n profile. We have used our experience from 30 years developing 100G backplane systems to the IT/Datacom market. Next-generation VPX interconnects allow the signal transition path to expand to 100G bandwidth through a traditional copper backplane. Backplane assembly and test in the production environment are critical.

Amphenol-BSI’s range of PICMG compliant backplanes includes AdvancedTCA. Our 5U, 14-slot dual-dual star ATCA backplane is one of the varieties of ABSI’s ATCA backplane products. Industry-leading Backplane Design and Signal Integrity offer optimized ATCA backplane solutions for data rates of 10G, 40G, and 100G.

Amphenol-BSI’s range of PICMG compliant backplanes includes CompactPCI Serial which modernizes CompactPCI to include high-speed serial Ethernet, PCIe, SATA and USBinterconnects. These high-speed serial interconnects are capable of data rates up to 12Gb/s.

One such example is the ½ size ATR backplane that uses an OpenVPX65 profile, but the mechanical envelope is customized to fit a typical ½ size ATR enclosure.
