D-Shaped Connectors

FCE17 D-Sub Filter Connectors provide filtering of unwanted EMI, protecting the integrity of data signals in a mechanically stress-isolated design to ensure that capacitive elements survive shock and vibration. Improved EMI controls outperform the same filter components on a PCB.

Incorporates a higher density contact pattern and lower mated height than Amphenol’s standard low mating force rectangular connectors. HDB3 connectors utilize the same durable and reliable B3 brush contact in a tighter .070” X .060” staggered grid pattern. Up to 160 brush contacts with data rates up to 6.250 Gb/s via 100 ohms matched impedance differential pairs. 100,000 mating cycles.

It is an ARINC 801 conforming fibre-optic connector designed to be used with the Positronic Combo D-Subminiature family. Optik-D is more cost-effective than D38999 or ARINC 600-based systems and is compatible with ARINC 801 products from other manufacturers.
