RF Connectors (Radio Frequency Connectors)
Amphenol LTW's RF connector (radio frequency connector) is an electrical connector designed to work at radio frequencies in the multi-megahertz range. RF connectors are typically used with coaxial cables and are designed to maintain the shielding that the coaxial design offers. Available in SMA, N-Type, with various termination choices.
RF Jumper and Socket
Amphenol’s RF Jumper and Socket covers 1st through 5th generations. The 4th generation RF jumper cable is compatible with lpex spec using a soldering connection instead of crimping between RF connector and the jumper cable creating a more secure joint for better high-frequency performance. The 5th generation version is Hirose compatible and has a 1.0 mm mating height with 0.81 mm diameter cable.

RF Microswitches
RF Switches are typically used as test access points or for external antenna applications. The switch is activated by manually mating a connector to change the RF path. RF switches come in several different interfaces, with MMCX and MCX being the most popular.

RFM Series
Amphenol Socapex offers RFM Series, Rack & Panel connectors, featuring blind mate and modular floating. RFM connectors are compliant with EN45545 & NF F 61-032 standards. RFM connectors have been used for many years by OEMs for harsh environments and in railway applications for security systems. The robustness and realignment capability of RFM connectors deliver also durability and reliability.
RF Switches
Amphenol’s full range of RF switches come in straight and right-angle mountings as well as miniature, low-profile, and lightweight versions for different phone design requirements. Our full mechanical switches provide high reliability for wireless terminal testing and connection to external car antennas of up to 5Ghz.
Rhino
RHINO combines the benefits of field-proven MIL-DTL-38999 Series III circular connectors with low resistance hyperbolic RADSOK® power contacts. RHINO is designed to meet the latest military and industrial specifications and is intended to satisfy market requirements for high power & voltage applications in harsh environment conditions.
Rib-Cage® Board-To-Board
Rib-Cage® connectors provide optimal precision and reliability at a competitive commercial cost. With an exclusive design, the Rib-Cage® multipoint, gold plated receptacle contacts meet high-performance standards for use in applications with shock and vibration. This versatile system includes dual-row, pin-and-socket connectors for right-angle and mezzanine connections between PCB or FPC.
Rig-Lok Vortex
RIG-LOK is a Single Pole, dual finger proof, metal connector that delivers high power thanks to the 19mm RADSOK technology. This connector can be terminated with cable from 4/0 up to 777MCM. Its through-shell conductivity between components allows grounding terminated to be conducted from gland to next connection with good EMI properties.
Rig-Power
Rig-Power Single Pole connectors are the standard of the industry for top drive interconnects. Featuring RADSOK® high amperage contact technology which uses the high tensile strength properties of a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to produce low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area.
Rising Clamp System
This series is practical PCB terminal blocks that utilize the rising principle of metal housing and are also provided with two main features of compact construction and firm connection in design. Conductors with cross-sections from 0.08mm² to 35mm² can be connected, with spacing from 2.54mm to 15.0mm available. Product design in line with IEC/EN60998, IEC/EN60947, UL1059, CSA C22.2 No.158, etc.
RJ11 Modular Jack Connector
FCI Basics RJ11 is the most commonly recognized registered jack. It is used as a standardized telecommunication network interface, for connecting voice and data equipment to a telecommunications carrier in single-line telephones. FCI Basics RJ11 is designed to meet Category 3 (Cat 3) cable performance. Cat 3 cable features a 10Mb/s transfer rate and supports a transmission speed of 16MHz.
RJ45 Connectors

RJF 544
RJF 544 allows you to use an Ethernet Class D / Cat 5e connection for 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTX, or 1000 BaseT networks in harsh environments. With the patented RJStop® system you can use a standard RJ45 cordset in a protective composite plug which will protect it from shocks, dust, and fluids. No hazardous on-field cabling and grounding!
RJF Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A (New Cat6A version)
RJF Cat6A allows you to use an Ethernet Class Ea / Cat. 6A connection for 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTx, 1000 BaseT, or 10 G BaseT up to 500 MHz networks in harsh environments. With the patented RJStop system you can use a standard RJ45 cordset in a metallic plug that will protect it from shocks, dust, and fluids. No hazardous on-field cabling and grounding!
